Embla
The clean, timeless design has made Embla our most popular model. Elegant, soft and powerful.
- Handmade in the EU
- Black moose leather
- Purple cashmere lining
These gloves are table cut by hand by a master glove cutter and machine sewn with one edge visible and one edge hidden. The leather is sourced from Sweden and Finland and tanned with vegetable tanning only. Moose leather is a uniquely soft and warm leather with excellent breathability. It is also a sustainable choice.
Moose, or Nordic elk, is a wild animal of vibrant populations. It is hunted for its meat and in order to keep the population at an appropriate level as decided by the authorities. The hides are byproducts that would be left to rot if not picked up by local tanneries. Unlike farmed animals, such as sheep or goat, moose do not contribute to global warming and they have not lived their lives in captivity.

CAN’T FIND YOUR SIZE?
Contact us at info@nordic-moose.com and we will make your favorite pair of gloves for you.
You find your glove size by measuring your hand at its widest point, which is just below the knuckles. Please see the picture below. You should measure your dominant hand. Once you have measured your hand, please look in the table below to find your glove size. If you are in between sizes, we recommend you to choose the smaller of the two sizes. This is because the glove will stretch over time as you wear it.
Hand circumference | Glove size |
---|---|
150-163 mm | 6 |
164-175 mm | 6.5 |
176-189 mm | 7 |
190-203 mm | 7.5 |
204-215 mm | 8 |
216-230 mm | 8.5 |
